- click the Add a Block button
- Click Video under the Media category
- Upload a video from your computer,
- Choose an video already uploaded to the site’s Media Library
- Insert a video from a website (URL)
If you click the Media Library button, a window opens showing your uploaded videos*
*Note: Large videos may not upload to your site’s media library. Instead, link your video from a streaming service such as YouTube (opens in a new tab) or link the video from your Google Drive (opens in a new tab).
- Click a video to select it
- Click Select
- Add a caption (optional)
- Use the Formatting Toolbar or Block Settings panel to make changes (optional)
NOTE! For accessibility, all videos on public websites should be captioned or include a transcript. Please contact the Ramsey Library Media Design Lab (opens in a new tab) for more information.
